The Transport Board (BTB) operates Barbados's public blue bus network — routes, schedules, and where to see live buses as they move.
What is the Transport Board?
The Barbados Transport Board (BTB) is the government agency that runs the island's public bus service. It connects every parish across Barbados with numbered routes on fixed timetables.
BTB buses are blue — the flat fare is $3.50 BBD regardless of where you board or where you get off. The same fare applies to yellow minibuses and ZR route taxis.

Routes connect Bridgetown's three main terminals (Princess Alice, Fairchild Street, and Speightstown) to communities in all eleven parishes. Transit246 shows live buses and timetables for every route.
Bridgetown Terminals
Princess Alice Bus Terminal
Cheapside, Bridgetown. Main hub for north and east coast routes — Speightstown, St. Lucy, St. Andrew, Indian Ground, and more.
Fairchild Street Bus Terminal
Central Bridgetown. Hub for south and east routes — Oistins, Six Roads, Bath, Bathsheba, Sam Lord's Castle, and the Atlantic coast.
Speightstown Terminal
Northern Barbados hub in St. Peter. Serves the north coast, west coast, and connects through the ABC Highway.

Types of Transport Board Routes
Regular Routes
Numbered routes connecting Bridgetown to communities. Run on a fixed schedule, generally from around 5:00 am to 9:00 pm or later depending on the route.
School Routes
Dedicated service between terminals and secondary schools during school hours. These are labelled on Transit246 so you know when they're in service.
Express & Cross-Country
ABC Highway routes and cross-country services connect opposite sides of the island via the highway, often running through to the airport or Speightstown.
